Anthem Community Park
A beautiful location if you want to add a little water to your photos!
Anthem Community Park offers a fun mix of water, greenery, walking trails, and Arizona scenery. You'll find rock waterfalls, a duck pond, large trees, rock boulders, desert plants, and even a rustic door for a little variety.
This is a great location if you want something a little different from a traditional desert session. There's plenty of room to walk around and explore, so we can capture a variety of natural family moments along the way.
What Makes Anthem Community Park Special?
The ponds and waterfalls are what make this location stand out. I love how the water adds something different to your family photos, especially when it's paired with the lush greenery and beautiful trees.
There are also plenty of walking trails and different backdrops, so we can get several looks during your session.
When Should We Go?
Evening is my favorite time to photograph here. The soft golden-hour light looks beautiful around the ponds and waterfalls and gives your photos a warm, natural glow.
There is plenty of parking, but I recommend checking the park's event schedule before your session since events can make the area busier.
What Should We Wear?
There is a lot of green throughout this location, so I recommend avoiding green in your family's clothing so you don't blend into the background.
Choose colors that complement the greenery and help your family stand out against the trees, trails, and water.
A Little Walking Is Involved
Plan to do some walking during your session, and if you're bringing a little one, a stroller is a good idea.
