Rancho Manana Golf Club
A little hidden gem with lots of green!
This location is one of my favorite little gems. It's a bit more secluded than some of my other favorite spots, and the property is beautifully maintained year-round.
There is so much greenery here, from fresh grass and palm trees to desert landscaping and vibrant green vine walls. The main entrance has several of my favorite shooting spots, so we can get beautiful photographs without interfering with the golfers.
And there's more than just greenery! A beautiful fountain and rustic doors give us some variety and allow us to create different looks throughout your session.
What Makes This Location Special?
I love how peaceful and tucked away this location feels. The lush landscaping gives your photographs a fresh, vibrant look that you don't always get with desert locations.
The fountain, rustic doors, palm trees, and greenery also give us several different backdrops without having to travel from one location to another.
One of the best things about this spot is that it looks beautiful all year long because the property is so well maintained.
When Should We Go?
Morning and evening photo shoots give a beautiful, soft light, which is why those are my favorite times to photograph here!
Early morning or evening sessions on the golf course are permitted as long as we're not interfering with golfers.
Parking can sometimes be limited, so I recommend arriving a little early to give yourself time to find a spot.
What Should We Wear?
Because there is so much beautiful green throughout this location, I recommend avoiding green clothing.
If your family wears colors that are too close to the greenery, you may blend into the background. Instead, choose colors that contrast with the landscape and help your family stand out.
